Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with senior project managers in managing all aspects of project financial management for several small to medium sized projects. Primary duties will include, project financial tracking, budget analysis, revenue recognition/verification, forecasting, accounts receivable reconciliation, and project setup support for contracts of varying types (primarily T&M, FFP), and project scheduling. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the experience and knowledge base required to support these areas with limited oversight. Familiar with a type of services performed by the delivery teams will be beneficial. This individual will perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
The successful candidate will have strong communication and relationship building capabilities and a proven track record of success in managing small to medium sized consulting projects. This position will be based in Falls Church, VA, but must be willing to travel locally in and around the Washington, DC Metropolitan area for client site visits. Specific requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, or a related field;
2 – 5 years of Project Financial Management experience in a federal/DOD environment;
2 - 5 years of project schedule management;
Interest and capability to develop professional skillset in organizational development/performance, human capital, training, and /or process improvement related disciplines;
